I don't believe I've ever been busier but it's all fun and exciting. I'll try to catch you up a bit before I head out in two days for my next adventure.

Last year I started thinking about how I wanted to celebrate my upcoming 50th birthday (OMG I know....can't believe I have lived almost 1/2 a century.) I've always wanted to take a cruise somewhere but I don't really like hot places. I studied geology and found glaciers fascinating so putting it all together I decided I'd like to take a cruise to Alaska. I also wanted to see the glaciers before they melt away. Let me just say, this was the BEST vacation we've ever taken!

I reserved us a stateroom with a balcony (worth every penny) on the Dawn Princess. It cruises round trip from San Francisco to Alaska (7 or 10 days) from May to September. So a mere 2 weeks before I had to lead the ArtCar Fest we headed out on our Northern adventure.

Ken took so many excellent photos that he's still sorting them (and now he's also sorting the 1300 photos he took during ArtCar Fest.) He's slowly posting them on his Flickr site so keep checking back to see what "develops". He's truly a wonderful photographer!

Here is a link to the Alaska set of photos but it's not finished so check back in a few weeks to see what he's added if you're interested.

You can see all of Ken's photos (ArtCars, travel, urban enviroments, strange signs, etc. by clicking on his name under any of the photos above.)
